Sunni Tradition: Adhering to the Ahlus Sunnat Wal Jama'at (Sunni) tradition, the mosque is the venue for the five daily prayers (Salah). The weekly Friday Jumu'ah sermons are a major focal point, delivered in Tamil with an emphasis on spiritual ethics and communal harmony. Educational and Charitable Impact: The mosque administration manages a well-regarded Madrasa, providing foundational Quranic studies to local youth. It is also active in providing financial assistance and food distribution to underprivileged families in the surrounding salt pan and port sectors.
