Annual Urus: The mosque is well-known for its annual Urus festival, which commemorates the Peer. During this time, the village becomes a hub of activity, with people from various religious backgrounds participating in the "Sandanakudu" (Sandalwood pot) procession, symbolising the syncretic culture of rural Tamil Nadu. Educational Role: The mosque administration manages a small Madrasa, providing foundational religious instruction and moral guidance to the children of the surrounding agricultural hamlets. Traditional Rural Architecture: The masjid features a classic white-and-green facade with a prominent minaret that acts as a landmark for the village.
