Upon investigation, he found sidemarks believed to be those of Imam Ali. A shrine was erected on this spot, hewn from stone, to commemorate this miraculous occurrence. The site gained royal patronage when Ibrahim Qutb Shah visited the hill and paid his respects. He also commissioned a mosque at the site, further establishing it as a center of devotion. Over the years, many Qutb Shahi and Asaf Jahi nobles chose to be buried in the shadow of this sacred hill, enhancing its significance.
