The chhatri is a domed pavilion constructed on a square plan and elevated on a raised plinth. It is accessible via a flight of steps leading to the main platform. The structure follows the Mughal architectural style, characterized by its elegant design and symmetrical proportions. The roof of the chhatri features a hemispherical plaster dome, crowned with a gilded pinnacle, adding a sense of grandeur to the structure. The dome is supported by four intricately designed pillars, positioned on each face of the chhatri, providing both structural stability and aesthetic appeal. The parapet is adorned with a decorative kangura battlement design, a common feature in Mughal-era structures. The chhatri is painted in a combination of green and white, enhancing its visual charm while maintaining a traditional aesthetic. In terms of construction materials, the chhatri is primarily built using locally sourced stone and plaster. The use of these materials reflects the regional architectural practices and ensures the structure's durability. The plasterwork on the dome and walls provides a smooth finish, contributing to the overall elegance of the monument.
