The mosque, which dates back nearly 700 years to the Lodi period, was originally an impressive structure, comparable in grace and architectural beauty to the Sohan Burj. It continues to function as a living mosque, where regular prayers and important religious ceremonies are conducted, preserving its spiritual and communal significance. Architecturally, the mosque follows the Lodi style and is designed as a monumental wall-type structure with a rectangular plan. The western wall of the mosque features three mihrabs, with the central mihrab being distinguished by a slightly higher frieze. The mihrab has been painted in pink and green, contrasting against the predominantly white walls. This color scheme creates a striking fusion, drawing attention to the intricate designs and ornamentations that have been meticulously executed. The vibrant contrast enhances the visual appeal of the mosque, making its architectural elements stand out prominently. The roof of the mosque is currently covered with corrugated iron sheets, which serve as a temporary roofing solution. These sheets are supported by the front elevation, which is constructed with brickwork. The use of brick as the primary building material, along with the corrugated iron sheets for the roof, reflects a combination of traditional and practical construction techniques aimed at preserving the mosque while ensuring its continued use for worship and religious activities.
