Dargah Shareef Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul Lateef Laubali Al Hydari Al Hamavi Al Quadri (R.A.) is one of the most revered Sufi shrines in Kurnool, located on Lal Masjid Road, Peta, opposite Bada Padakhana, Andhra Pradesh (PIN 518001). The shrine is dedicated to Hazrat Syed Shah Abdul Lateef Laubali Al Hydari Al Hamavi Al Quadri (R.A.), a distinguished Qadiri Sufi saint believed to have migrated from Hama (Syria) to the Deccan for the propagation of Islam. Revered for his piety, scholarship, and spiritual guidance, the saint played an important role in the spread of Islamic teachings in the region. The dargah has remained an important centre of devotion for centuries and is visited by devotees from different parts of Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring states. The shrine complex includes a mosque, the saint's maqbara (tomb), and facilities for pilgrims. Alongside the five daily prayers (ṣalāh) and the Friday (Jumuʿah) congregational prayer, the dargah hosts Qur'anic recitation, religious gatherings (majlis), and the annual Urs Sharif, which commemorates the saint's wisal (death anniversary). During the Urs, thousands of devotees participate in prayers, duʿāʾ, recitation of naʿat and manqabat, and community meals (langar), making it one of Kurnool's most significant Islamic religious events.
