Hazrat Syed Shah Ishaq Sanaullah Quadri (R.A.), popularly known as Miya Sahib, was a revered 15th-century Sufi saint of the Qadiriyya order who is traditionally believed to have migrated from Baghdad to the Deccan to propagate the teachings of Islam. His historic shrine, popularly known as Roza Dargah, is situated at A8, 44-19, 6-1, Roja Street, Postal Colony, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh (PIN 518004). The more than 500-year-old stone dargah is regarded as one of the oldest and most prominent Sufi shrines in Kurnool and occupies a significant place in the religious and cultural heritage of the region. Over the centuries, it has become an important centre of Islamic spirituality, attracting devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and other parts of India who visit to seek spiritual healing, blessings, and inner peace. The shrine complex comprises the maqbara (tomb) of Hazrat Syed Shah Ishaq Sanaullah Quadri (R.A.), an adjoining mosque, and facilities for pilgrims. Along with the five daily prayers (ṣalāh) and the Friday (Jumuʿah) congregational prayer, the dargah hosts regular Qur'anic recitation, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and religious gatherings (majlis). The shrine is especially renowned for its annual Sandal Shareef and Urs Shareef, commemorating the saint's wisal (death anniversary). These celebrations are observed with great devotion and include ceremonial sandal application, recitation of the Qur'an, naʿat and manqabat, special prayers, and langar (community meals), drawing thousands of devotees irrespective of caste or creed. The dargah remains one of the most important centres of Sufi devotion in the Rayalaseema region.
