Shaikh Haidar, a disciple of the renowned Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya, is commemorated in a tomb that holds significant local and religious value. Devotees regularly visit the site to offer prayers, sweets, and flowers, honoring the great departed soul. Architecturally, the tomb follows the Tughlaq style, a prominent architectural style from the Tughlaq dynasty. The tomb is a square structure measuring 5.65 square meters. Its roof is a plastered dome topped with a finial, supported by 12 grey stone pillars. Originally, the spaces between these pillars were filled with red sandstone jali (lattice) screens, which added intricate detail to the structure. Surrounding the building is a chajja (a overhanging eave), supported by stone beams that rest on the minimally carved capitals of the pillars. To the west of the tomb, there is a small enclosure with a gateway, inside which lies a stone grave on a raised platform, enclosed within a stone boundary. The building has been whitewashed, giving it a bright appearance. A modern inscription, fixed over the doorway, reads: "Shaikh Haidar, may the peace of God be upon him," along with the year 759 A.H. (1357-58 A.D.), marking the date of construction. The tomb is built using dressed stone columns, while the domed roof is constructed with random rubble masonry, finished with plaster. The structure reflects the grandeur and simplicity of Tughlaq-era architecture, making it a significant heritage site.
