The site is also known as Dada Pir Wali Masjid and Dargah. Historian Zafar Hasan describes it as the Dargah of Shah Turkman. This dargah is significant as it marks the burial site of Begum Razia Sultan, a contemporary and follower of the saint. Shah Turkman was a revered Sufi saint known for his spiritual influence. Local / Traditional Description Shah Turkman was widely respected as a mystic saint believed to possess magical powers. His spiritual legacy attracted many followers over time. Architectural Style The structure follows the Indo-Persian architectural style (Hind-Persian). Description of the Building / Structure / Site The site primarily serves as a large graveyard with an attached mosque for congregational prayers. The entrance to the graveyard features a cusped arch, which is situated below the current street level. To the south of the entrance, there is a small mosque with three arched openings and a flat dome. East of the mosque, a large open area contains numerous graves. Among them, Shah Turkman?s grave, which is white in color, stands out. Building / Structural Materials The structure is constructed using bricks and is plastered with lime mortar. The floor is made of marble, adding to the aesthetic and historical significance of the site.
