Maulaya Raja Saheb Masjid & Well is a historic religious site in Old Morbi associated with Maulaya Raj bin Maulaya Dawood (Q.S.), a revered figure in the Dawoodi Bohra community. According to traditional Dawoodi Bohra historical accounts, Maulaya Raj migrated from Patan to Morbi during a period of religious and political difficulties. In Morbi, he established a mosque and dug a nearby well, creating a place for worship and access to water for ablution (wuzu). The site is particularly remembered for a devotional account in which Maulaya Raj is said to have drawn precious stones from the well but returned them, choosing instead to obtain water and fulfil his prayers on time. The mosque and well remain significant features of the complex, which is visited by community members for ziyarat and religious remembrance. The associated mausoleum honours Maulaya Raj and members of his family, including his son Maulaya Mulla Dawood. Traditional community sources associate Maulaya Raj's Urs with the 23rd of Rabi al-Awwal. These accounts form part of Dawoodi Bohra religious heritage; the precise construction date of the surviving mosque and well has not been independently established through archaeological documentation.
