This mosque houses the grave of Hazrat Baqi Billah Shah, a revered Sufi master of the Naqshbandi Sufi order. He played a crucial role in bringing the Naqshbandi order from Kabul to India. He passed away in 1603 CE, and his final resting place is a Sufi shrine in Delhi, attracting thousands of followers and visitors. Local / Traditional Description N.A. Architectural Style Indo-Persian Description of the Building / Structure / Site The structure is a magnificent triple-storied building built on a rectangular plan. It features three multi-foliated arched wooden openings. The facade is adorned with two minarets at the front, and the parapet is decorated with kangaroos. The walls showcase intricate geometric and floral patterns. The holy shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Baqi Billah houses his grave, which is covered by a marble gravestone with an inscribed epitaph. The ceiling above the grave is beautifully ornamented with floral designs. Behind the mosque, there is a graveyard. Building / Structure Materials Walls: Made of bricks and plastered with cement. Facade: Constructed using red sandstone. Floor: Made of white marble. Paintwork: The entire structure is painted with distemper.
