The mosque was built during the 16th century. Local / Traditional Description Associated with the Built Heritage / Site Jamali, who belonged to a Sunni merchant family, was indoctrinated into Sufism by Sheikh Samauddin. Architectural Style Indo-Persian Description of the Building / Structure / Site The single-storeyed structure is built on a rectangular plan. It is based on a raised plinth and is accessed by a stepped staircase. The facade features an arched entrance with niches on either side. Above the lintel level, there is a kangura (battlement) pattern. On the right-hand side of the main facade, there is a ribbed dome-like structure with fluted columns. The dome itself is based on an octagonal plan. The mosque also features a large courtyard. Building / Structure Material and Other Components The facade is constructed using Lakhori bricks, red sandstone, and lime mortar. The plinth is made of random rubble masonry. The entire structure is plastered with lime.
