This mosque was created by a group of Muslims who were leading a puritanical movement. Local/Traditional Description Associated with the Built Heritage/Site "Anjuman" means a group or a college of scholars. It was a social movement in late 19th-century India. Architectural Style Indo-Persian Description of the Building/Structure/Site The mosque has a large courtyard, which can be accessed through openings on the north and north-east corners. It is a single-storeyed structure with five arched doorways leading to the prayer chamber. An inscription is present on the southern facade of the mosque. Structure Material and Other Materials Used The walls of this structure are made of bricks and are plastered with cement. The walls are also paved with tiles and marble. The floor is made of white marble. The roof consists of wooden beams and sandstone.
