The well is located near Biran ka Gumbad, an impressive tomb from the Lodi period. Its close proximity to this tomb and the similarity in construction materials and style suggest that it was also built during the Lodi era. Architectural Style: The architectural style of the well is Indo-Persian, reflecting a blend of Indian and Persian construction traditions typical of the Lodi period. Description of the Structure: The well is excavated and constructed very close to Biran ka Gumbad, indicating a likely historical connection. The use of rubble masonry and the architectural features closely resemble those of the tomb. Constructed with stone using rubble masonry techniques, the well is quite deep and currently secured with an iron grill. At the top section, sandstone beams connect the overhead panels, which would have facilitated the process of drawing water. The structure is spacious enough to accommodate several people drawing water simultaneously. The well has undergone recent restoration work to preserve its historical integrity.
