Tomb Near Baoli Of Nizamuddin

The tomb was built in 1565–66 CE and is an example of Indo-Persian architecture. It is constructed on an elevated platform and follows a square layout. The structure is crowned with a shallow, bulbous dome, which is characteristic of the architectural style of that period. The façade of the tomb features intricately carved jaali (latticed) screens, adding to its ornamental beauty. Sandstone pillars provide structural support and enhance its visual appeal. The main construction materials used in the tomb are lakhori bricks and lime plaster, which were commonly used during that era. Additionally, sandstone has been used for the windows and other detailing. The combination of stone and brick masonry reflects the architectural techniques of the time and adds to the monument's historic significance.
