This historical watch tower, constructed in the Indo-Persian architectural style, holds significant historical importance. It was originally used by the British Company regiment during various military campaigns. The structure played a strategic role until the Revolt of 1857, during which it was damaged by the rebels as they entered the Red Fort (Lal Quila). Architecturally, the tower is octagonal in shape and stands on a rectangular platform. Today, the structure is in a ruined state. There is evidence suggesting that a canopy once existed at the top of the tower, although it is now completely obscured by thick vegetation. The watch tower remains a testament to the turbulent colonial history and architectural legacy of the period.
