This mosque, constructed during the late Mughal period, was originally built to serve as a congregational prayer space (Juma Masjid) for the local community. Although the structure has undergone renovations—particularly the addition of tiles—its original architectural elements remain largely intact. The mosque showcases the Indo-Persian architectural style, evident in its symmetrical design and use of recessed arched gateways that surround the central courtyard. The entrance to the qibla area is marked by multiple recessed, multi-floriated, and pointed arched doorways, all carefully aligned with geometric precision. Recent plasterwork has been carried out to support the building’s restoration, but the structure continues to retain its historical character. The mosque was originally constructed using traditional Lakhori brick masonry, a hallmark of Mughal-era architecture.
