Masjid In Sunder Nursery

The mosque is believed to date back to the Mughal period, although there is no specific information available about its builder. According to local and traditional accounts, the structure features a large arched gateway constructed using rubble masonry. This pointed arch reflects an architectural style that predates the Shahjahan era. The mosque was originally built on a slightly raised platform, remnants of which still exist today. Of the entire mosque, only the arched gateway and parts of the adjoining wall survive, along with some smaller, newer arches. The architectural style of the mosque is Indo-Persian. The materials used in its construction include Delhi quartzite and Lakhori bricks, which are characteristic of historical Mughal architecture.
