This building, nominated for the DDA Urban Heritage Award in 1998, is a fine example of Indo-Persian architectural style. The entrance features a semi-circular arched gate fitted with a wooden door. The piers flanking the entrance are adorned with beautiful vase-shaped motifs at their base. A projecting balcony on the first floor is supported by intricately carved sandstone brackets. The building’s façade is highly decorative, with detailed carvings on red sandstone that add to its ornamental appeal. The front door and the balcony railings also feature elaborate carvings, with the railings showcasing an ornamental stone screen. The structure’s walls are constructed from bricks and finished with cement plaster, while the red sandstone façade and wooden door, bolted with iron, enhance its traditional charm.
