Khairul Manazil or Khair-ul-Manazil (meaning "the most auspicious of houses") is a historical mosque and madrasa located in New Delhi, India. Khairul Manazil, a significant historical landmark in New Delhi, India, is a testament to the architectural and cultural richness of the Mughal era. This mosque and madrasa, constructed in 1561 by the influential Maham Anga, Akbar's wet nurse and foster mother, stands as a prominent example of architectural fusion. The central gate of Khairul Manazil features a notable Persian inscription, a chronogram composed by Maulana Shihabuddin Ahmad Khan, a renowned court historian and poet during Akbar's reign. This inscription, a testament to the literary and artistic flourishing of the Mughal court, employs the rule of ٲٻڄݚ to assign numerical values to the Arabic letters forming the words "Khairul Manazil," revealing the year of construction as 969 AH, equivalent to 1561 AD. Today, Khairul Manazil remains a cherished historical site, protected and maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. It serves as a valuable reminder of the rich cultural heritage of Delhi and the enduring legacy of the Mughal era
