The mosque, built in 1727 AD by Ghaziuddin Khan—a prominent noble during the reign of Aurangzeb and his successor—is an excellent example of Indo-Islamic architecture. It remains a living heritage site, actively used by the local Muslim community for daily prayers and congregational worship, especially during festivals. The structure is a single-storey building laid out on a square plan and elevated on a raised plinth, which is accessed via a staircase. Architecturally rich, the mosque features three prominent domes crowned with inverted lotus motifs and elegant finials. The parapet is adorned with a kangura pattern and is flanked by four minarets, each topped with a chhatri that also has an inverted lotus and finial. The facade is marked by a multi-foliated arched gateway embellished with floral designs and niches, and it also carries the kangura pattern along with two minarets with chhatris. On either side of the facade, a pavilion made up of several multi-cusped arches is decorated with floral medallions. The interior of the dome showcases a series of squinches, while the enclosing walls are adorned with alcoves. The mosque is constructed primarily of red sandstone, with white marble inlay work accentuating the facade and domes.
