The residential building dates back to the Colonial period and showcases architectural elements characteristic of that era. It is constructed on a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys. The front portion of the ground floor has currently been converted into shops. The building displays a blend of Colonial and Art Deco architectural styles, evident in features such as slender columns, intricate trellis work, and decorative mouldings on the façade. Over time, several additions and alterations have been made, which are clearly visible. The original structure was built using bricks, sandstone, lime plaster, and cement, while later modifications incorporated materials like cement concrete, metallic elements, and glass fittings. There is no known local or traditional narrative associated with the site.
