Shaikh Haidar was a devoted disciple of the renowned Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya. His tomb is a site of spiritual reverence, regularly visited by devotees who offer prayers, sweets, and flowers in honor of the saint. Architecturally, the structure belongs to the Tughlaq style and is square in plan, measuring approximately 5.65 square meters. The tomb is crowned with a plastered hemispherical dome, supported by twelve local grey stone pillars. Originally, the spaces between the pillars were filled with red sandstone jali screens. A chajja (projecting eave) runs around the building, supported by stone beams that rest on minimally carved capitals. Adjacent to the tomb on the west side is a small enclosure with a gateway, within which lies a stone grave on a raised platform. The structure is whitewashed and bears a modern stone tablet above the entrance with an inscription that reads: “Shaikh Haidar, may the peace of God be upon him.” The tomb dates back to 759 A.H. (1357–58 A.D.). It is constructed using dressed stone columns and a domed roof made of random rubble masonry, finished with plaster.
