This massive mosque was originally constructed during the reign of Sher Shah, who ruled Delhi for a brief period. Though the structure has undergone several renovations over time, it still retains its historical essence. The mosque measures approximately 21 meters from north to south and about 8 meters from east to west. The prayer chamber, which is one bay deep, is divided into three large domed chambers. The arches are low and massive, with the springing point located very close to the floor level. The mosque also features a large courtyard with a central Hauz (water tank). Architecturally, the mosque follows the Afghan style, falling under the Indo-Islamic tradition. The walls are constructed with bricks and plastered with cement, while the façade is adorned with marble and sandstone. The floor is made of white marble, and the doors and windows are wooden, supported by iron beams. No specific local or traditional description is associated with the site.
