Chini Ka Burj is a two-storeyed mosque located along the western wall of the Baoli within the Nizamuddin complex. Believed to have been originally constructed during the 16th century, the structure is an excellent example of Indo-Persian architectural style and showcases characteristic features of Lodi architecture. The mosque derives its name, which means "Tower of Tiles," from the extensive use of decorative colored tiles that adorn the interior walls, parts of the façade, and the dome. The façade features pointed arch openings, and the parapet is decorated with Kangura patterns that still retain traces of the original tile work. A bulbous dome rests upon a beautifully crafted octagonal drum. The structure is primarily built using random rubble masonry, dressed stone masonry, and brick masonry, with the walls finished in lime plaster and embellished with vibrant tile decorations. The main materials used in its construction include stones, bricks, and lime mortar.
