Nazeer Foods has a rich legacy dating back to 1975, when Haji Aftab Ahmed—a poultry supplier to Delhi’s five‑star hotels—took the bold step of opening a small eatery in Delhi’s Ganesh Nagar, serving just two non‑veg items: Chicken Lollipop and Chicken Seekh Kebab, made with spices he ground in‑house . Initially branded simply as a “Chicken Takeaway,” this modest outlet occupied about 2,000 sq ft and immediately struck a chord with locals, thanks to its distinctive masalas and affordable Mughlai flavors . In 1987, Aftab Ahmed rebranded the venture to “Nazeer” and closed his poultry business to focus fully on hospitality. By 2002, they expanded to Noida’s Sector 18 and Vinod Nagar, and in 2005 transitioned into a private limited company—planting the seeds for rapid growth .
