Unlike large institutional madarsas, Madarsa Siddiqya operates on a family-supported, trust-based model, emphasizing personal mentorship, moral development, and foundational Islamic learning. Its origins are rooted in the efforts of respected elders from the Shah Family, who began by teaching Qur’an and Hadith in their own home and courtyard—motivated by a sense of duty to the faith and their neighborhood. Over time, the space gradually developed into a small formal madarsa structure, equipped with separate rooms for boys’ Qur’anic study, Arabic grammar classes, and daily prayers. Though compact in size, the madarsa maintains a deep sense of discipline and respect for tradition. The curriculum typically includes: Nazira Qur’an (reading) Tajweed (correct pronunciation) Basic Arabic and Urdu literacy Selected Hadith and daily du‘as Introductory Fiqh and Aqeedah (beliefs and jurisprudence) Most of the students are children from surrounding areas of Dilawer Pur and Shah Gali. They attend in the mornings or evenings, balancing their regular schooling with religious education. Lessons are often delivered by members of the Shah family who are huffaz, alims, or trained in traditional Islamic pedagogy. The prayer space inside or beside the madarsa doubles as a small masjid for daily Salah. The setting is serene and disciplined—children are taught to sit in rows, to enter with wudu, and to recite with proper adab (etiquette). Parents and guardians appreciate the madarsa for its moral focus, where respect for elders, cleanliness, and truthfulness are constantly reinforced alongside recitation and memorization.
