Known for its neat architecture, daily congregational prayers, and welcoming atmosphere, the Mithanpura Chowk Mosque caters to residents from Abdul Razzaque Colony, Mahammadpur Kazi, and surrounding areas. Despite being situated at a busy junction, the mosque offers calm, discipline, and a sense of spiritual continuity. At the heart of Mithanpura Chowk, where roads converge, markets buzz, and life flows constantly, the Mithanpura Chowk Mosque stands with quiet dignity. Surrounded by small businesses, residential apartments, clinics, and fruit vendors, the mosque plays a crucial role in the spiritual lives of those who live and work around Abdul Razzaque Colony and Mahammadpur Kazi. Built likely in the late 20th century as urban Muzaffarpur expanded eastward, the mosque was established by local residents to meet the growing religious needs of this densely populated area. It has since evolved into a well-maintained space offering five daily prayers, Jum’ah congregations, and seasonal religious events. From the outside, the Mithanpura Chowk Mosque reflects simple yet respectful Islamic architecture—arched entryways, a modest minaret with a loudspeaker, and a central dome over the prayer hall.
