The name “Jama Masjid” reflects its primary role as the central mosque for Friday congregational prayers in the locality. Its foundation dates back to the early 1980s, when Amjadabad was evolving into a more residential and commercial area. The mosque was established by local elders, business families, and religious leaders who recognized the need for a structured masjid to serve a growing population.
