Set in a quiet by-lane off the bustling roads of Tilak Nagar, the madarsa is marked by its simple two-story building painted in neutral tones, featuring a small masjid-style prayer hall, administrative room, and a few classrooms. Though humble in size, the madarsa is active from morning till evening with the sounds of Qur’an recitation, Arabic grammar lessons, and religious discussions. The primary curriculum includes: Qur’anic hifz (memorization) and tajweed (pronunciation) Arabic language and grammar Hadith and Seerah studies Fiqh (jurisprudence) based on Salafi interpretation Moral and character development classes A dedicated team of ustads (teachers) lead the instruction, with most of them having graduated from established madaris across North India. Classes are divided by age group and proficiency level, allowing students to learn at a suitable pace. Eid preparations see the madarsa decorated modestly, and students often help in distributing zakat and fitrah donations organized by the institution. Although not residential, the madarsa draws students from Tilak Nagar, Islampur, and neighboring colonies. Its reputation has steadily grown due to its consistency in Qur’anic instruction, regular teacher training, and its focus on authentic Islamic sources without sectarian conflict. The madarsa also engages with the community through Jum’ah khutbahs, short public lectures, and religious counseling offered by its senior teachers. Periodic meetings with parents help ensure students’ progress and discipline are maintained.
