The name “Al Madina” reflects inspiration from the Prophet’s city — a symbol of peace, community, and purity — ideals which this mosque quietly upholds. The structure is simple but well-maintained. A neat whitewashed façade, a small entrance arch, and one dome above the main hall define the masjid’s look. The prayer area accommodates about 60–70 worshippers, with additional mats laid out in the adjoining courtyard on Fridays and during Eid prayers. The mihrab is carved plainly into the wall, and a wooden minbar (pulpit) is used during the khutbah (Friday sermon). A separate ablution (wudu) area, tiled and shaded, ensures cleanliness and preparation before each Salah. The masjid committee, composed of respected village elders, oversees cleanliness, small repairs, and community announcements. They also maintain a donation box to fund seasonal needs — like Ramadan iftar, Eid decorations, and upkeep of the Qur’an copies and prayer mats. During Ramadan, the masjid becomes especially lively.
