The nearest railway station is Bhadrak Railway Station, located about 16–18 km west of Dhamnagar, on the Howrah–Chennai main line with good regional connectivity . The Bhadrak Bus Stand, roughly 4 km from the railway station, serves as the main hub for frequent state-run and private buses to Bhubaneswar (≈130 km), Cuttack, Balasore, and Kolkata . Odisha currently has no metro system, so no metro access is available locally. Ashraf (Habibi) Dargah, also known as Mujahid‑e‑Millat Dargah, is located in Dhamnagar, Bhadrak district, Odisha, approximately 125 km from Bhubaneswar. It is the mausoleum of Maulana Habibur Rehman Qadri Abbasi Hashmi—revered as Huzoor Mujahid-e-Millat—born on 26 March 1904 (8 Muharram 1322 AH) in Bhadrak district . After memorizing the Qur’an, he studied Farsi and Islamic sciences—leaving Ravenshaw Collegiate School in eighth grade—and continued higher studies at Madrasa Subhaniya in Allahabad, Madrasa Moiniya–Usmaniya in Ajmer Sharif, and Jamiya Naimiya under Allama Naimuddin Muradabadi . Following the passing of his teacher, he returned to Allahabad to serve as headmaster of Madrasa Subhaniya, dedicating his work without pay . He was initiated into several major Sufi orders—Qadiri, Naqshbandi, Chishti, Ashrafi, Mujaddidi, Barkati, Rizvi, Hashmi—and received spiritual authorization (khilafat) from notable figures including Hazrat Ka’afi Alehir Rehman, Hazrat Ashrafi Miyan of Kichhauchha Sharif, and Hujjatul Islam Maulana Hamid Raza . He passed away on 13 March 1981 (6 Jumada ul‑Awwal 1401 AH), with his urs commemorated annually on 5–6 Jumada ul‑Awwal at the Dhamnagar dargah, which has since become a vibrant spiritual and cultural center drawing devotees from across Odisha .
