The Odisha government allotted land, and through community donations, the mosque along with an affiliated madrasa (Jamiul Uloom) was built, with a capacity to welcome around 5,000 worshippers. Over time it has grown into the principal “markaz masjid” of the state, widely praised for its spacious, marble-floored interior, air-conditioning, wheelchair access, and serene ambiance—earning a glowing 4.7+ rating from over 250 worshippers .
