The Haji Ali Jaan Mosque, originally constructed during the 16th century, holds great historical significance as it dates back to the Lodhi period in Delhi. The Lodhi dynasty, which governed parts of northern India from 1451 to 1526, represented the final era of the Delhi Sultanate before the rise of the Mughal Empire. While the mosque's original name is unknown, it was renamed Haji Ali Jaan by its current caretaker, Mr. Noman Ali Jan, in honor of his grandfather. Despite undergoing several renovations that have altered its initial structure, the mosque remains an important historical site. Key figures associated with the mosque are Muhammed Yunus, the current Imam, and Mr. Noman Ali Jan, the Mutawalli (caretaker).
