Astane Ziyarat of Hazrat Syed Abul Hasan Sarkar, also known as Farid Badshah Qadri-Chishti (R.A), is a prominent spiritual site located in Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh. Revered by both Hindus and Muslims, this shrine holds deep significance in the region for its message of communal harmony and spiritual wisdom. Hazrat Abul Hasan Sarkar was a Sufi saint who belonged to the Qadri-Chishti order and was known for his piety, service to humanity, and unifying presence in society. Though the exact date of establishment is unclear, the shrine has been the center of devotion for over 80 years, as evidenced by the annual Urs celebration which has completed 81 editions. Every year, thousands of devotees from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra gather at the Dargah for the two-day Urs, marked by the offering of chadar (sacred cloth), sandal, qawwali performances, and the distribution of niyaz (blessed food). The shrine serves not only as a religious and spiritual place but also as a symbol of unity, cultural richness, and peace in the region.
