The masjid, constructed during the late Mughal phase, reflects the architectural practices prevalent in that era, blending Indo-Persian styles. It is built on a square plan, providing a symmetrical and balanced structure. To reach the entrance of the mosque, a flight of steps leads visitors, adding to the grandeur of the building. The prayer chamber, a central feature of the mosque, is covered with three bulbous domes. Among these, the central dome is the largest, serving as the focal point of the structure. On the mosque's front, two minarets stand tall, enhancing its majestic appearance and adding to the architectural beauty. The mosque's construction materials include lakori bricks, known for their durability, which are bound together with lime mortar. The structure is plastered with cement, ensuring longevity and protection against the elements. The walls of the mosque are paved with colored tiles, giving it a distinctive look, while the dome is whitewashed using distemper to provide a clean, bright appearance. However, it is important to note that the entire building is now covered and paved with modern tiles, which might have altered the original aesthetic in some areas. Despite these modern additions, the mosque retains much of its historical and architectural significance, standing as a testament to the Mughal architectural legacy.
