The tomb, locally known as Kali Gumti, belongs to the Lodi dynasty, which ruled the Delhi Sultanate from the early 15th century until the early 16th century. Despite its historical significance, there is no substantial traditional or local information associated with the site. The architectural style of the tomb is representative of the Lodi period, showcasing their distinct design elements. This tomb is a relatively simple structure, featuring a domed roof that sits on a square plan, measuring 5.3 meters in length. It is built on a raised platform, elevating the structure from its surroundings. The roof of the tomb is formed using squinches in the corners, a common architectural feature used to support the circular dome. The tomb has openings on the north, south, and east sides, providing light and ventilation to the interior, while the west side of the building contains a mihrab, indicating its connection to Islamic traditions. The walls of the structure are adorned with battlements, a feature commonly seen in the Lodi architectural style. Interestingly, the building does not house any grave, which is unusual for a tomb and suggests that it may have served a different purpose or has been altered over time.
