Constructed in the 16th century, it served as a royal pleasure retreat and deer park for Mughal emperors, particularly during Shah Jahan's era. The expansive garden, stretching over six miles, featured two main structures: a small palace adorned with intricate traceries and a pillared pavilion known as the baradari. This pavilion is notably recognized as the first resting place of Mumtaz Mahal, Shah Jahan's beloved wife.
