The Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Maulana Kamaluddin Chishti, also known as Kamal Maula, is a revered Sufi shrine situated in the heart of Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, at Kalika Marg, Bohra Bakhal, Pochaupati. A prominent figure of the Chishti Sufi order, Hazrat Kamaluddin Chishti arrived in Dhar in 1291 CE and spent over four decades spreading the message of love, peace, and devotion to God. He was a direct descendant of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar and a contemporary of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. His spiritual lineage and scholarly prowess earned him the title "Allama," meaning "The Great Scholar." The Dargah complex houses the tomb of Hazrat Kamaluddin, constructed in the 14th century during the reign of the Malwa Sultanate. The tomb is adorned with a Persian inscription dating back to 1456–57 CE, indicating renovations by the Sultans of Malwa to accommodate pilgrims and pious men. Remarkably, the custodianship of the shrine has remained within Hazrat Kamaluddin's direct descendants for over 700 years, preserving the spiritual heritage of the site .
