The gateway, constructed in the 19th century, reflects the architectural traditions of medieval India while drawing significant influence from the imperial architectural style of the Shahjahan period. It serves as an entryway to a street and showcases a blend of aesthetic and functional design rooted in the Indo-Persian style. The structure features a multi-foliated arched gateway, characterized by its intricate design and craftsmanship. Above the gateway, a projecting semi-domed covering adds a touch of grandeur. The first floor of the gateway houses a projecting balcony, typical of the late Mughal architectural style. This balcony comprises three cusped arches supported by slender columns, enhancing the visual appeal and structural elegance of the building. The fa?ade of the gateway is adorned with delicate carvings, particularly on the spandrels of the engrailed arch. The intricate designs highlight the architectural sophistication of the time. At the top, brackets support a projecting balcony, which is believed to be a later addition to the original structure. The primary materials used in the construction include bricks for the walls, which are plastered with cement to ensure durability. The pilaster and keystone are crafted from sandstone, adding both strength and aesthetic value.
