Miskin Shah Masjid, located on Sarafa Road in Hanumantal Ward, Jabalpur, stands as a significant religious and cultural landmark in the city. The mosque is associated with Hazrat Ghulam Muhammad Miskin Shah, a revered Sufi saint who is believed to have settled in Jabalpur in the mid-19th century. Historical records suggest that a mosque was constructed by a local devotee, Sukhlal, in honor of Miskin Shah, who was buried in front of the mosque upon his death in 1859.
