The Choti Masjid in Sehore, though modest in size, holds great historical and spiritual significance for the local Muslim community. Built several decades ago, it is one of the older neighborhood mosques in the Qusba area, reflecting the simplicity and devotion of early Islamic architecture in small-town Madhya Pradesh. The mosque features a compact prayer hall with a beautifully arched mihrab, a small dome at the center, and two delicate minarets that mark its presence in the narrow lanes of Sehore. Despite its limited space, Choti Masjid remains a center of daily prayers, Quran recitations, and children’s religious education. The mosque’s white and green facade gives it a peaceful aura, while its community-oriented atmosphere continues to foster unity among residents. During Ramadan and Eid, it becomes a gathering point for locals, symbolizing faith, discipline, and brotherhood in a close-knit setting.
