Masjid Faiz Ganj, situated in Pinjari Mohalla of Qazi Mohalla, Seoni, is one of the most respected Sunni mosques in the region, following the traditions of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at. The mosque has a long-standing presence, believed to have been established over half a century ago by local scholars and community elders who aimed to create a center for worship, education, and spiritual guidance. Architecturally, the mosque reflects traditional Indo-Islamic design, featuring arched entrances, whitewashed walls, and elegant minarets that rise gracefully above the surrounding houses of Qazi Mohalla. Inside, the prayer hall is adorned with simple tile work and neatly arranged carpets, offering a peaceful environment for worshippers. Over the years, Masjid Faiz Ganj has also become known as a hub for Islamic learning, where students study the Qur’an, Hadith, and Fiqh under the guidance of local imams and scholars. The mosque plays an important role in organizing religious gatherings, Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, and Dars-e-Qur’an sessions, promoting harmony and moral education among the youth. During Ramadan and Eid, the mosque witnesses a large gathering of devotees, with special arrangements made for community iftar and charity distribution.
