Sayed Roshan Miyan (c. 1840–1889), a descendant of Sufi lineages tracing back to Central Asian scholars, was a humble preacher and healer whose life revolved around guiding devotees through simple acts of charity, recitation of the Quran, and emphasis on inner purification (tazkiyah).
