The Islamic Research Institute was founded in 1986 with the vision of uplifting the educationally backward sections of society. At a time when quality education was largely accessible only to the elite, the founder, Dr. Qazi Nisar, established this institution to ensure equal learning opportunities for socially and educationally marginalized yet deserving students. Over the years, the Institute has grown into a significant educational network that includes a chain of schools, a cluster of Islamic colleges, and part-time Maktabs aimed at community learning. Today, the Institute continues its mission of service by providing free education, food, and accommodation to more than 200 children, making it a cornerstone of social and educational reform in the region.
