The Mariam Bibi Masjid is a prominent historical mosque located in the Gomtipur area of Ahmedabad, near the iconic Jhulta Minara Masjid. Built in the 16th century during the Gujarat Sultanate period, this masjid stands as a testament to the rich architectural heritage of the era. The mosque is relatively compact, measuring approximately 30 by 20 feet, but its intricate design and structural elements make it remarkable. The masjid features 24 intricately carved pillars that support its three domes, which are adorned with fine craftsmanship typical of Sultanate architecture.
