Architectural Features The maqbara (tomb) of Baba Diwana Shah is a serene structure crafted with traditional Islamic architectural elements. The shrine features: A central dome, symbolizing unity and the heavens above, with intricate Islamic calligraphy and floral patterns. Arched entrances and ornate jalis (latticed screens) that allow sunlight to filter through, adding a mystical charm to the ambiance. The Buland Darwaza, the ceremonial gateway, marks the entrance to the shrine and is a prominent feature of the annual Urs celebrations. Hazrat Abdul Razzaq, known as Baba Diwana Shah, was a prominent Sufi saint. Born in Deesa, Gujarat, he was deeply inclined toward spirituality from a young age. His journey of spiritual enlightenment brought him to Deogarh, where he became a disciple of Hazrat Kutub Ali Shah (RA). After receiving the khilafat (spiritual authority), Baba settled in Kapasan, where he became a guiding light for villagers. Baba's message of peace and spirituality transcended religious boundaries, attracting devotees from various communities, including the notable Master Hariram Kumawat. He passed away on 8th Safar, 1363 Hijri (1944), and was laid to rest on land gifted by Maharaj Bhupal Singh. The annual Urs held on 8th Safar commemorates Baba?s teachings and life. The event begins with a grand procession carrying the Urs flag from Momin Mohalla to the dargah, accompanied by music and dance, culminating in the offering of a chaadar at the mazar. Devotees flock to the shrine during this time to seek blessings and participate in the festivities.
