Situated within the historic riverfront town of Sopore, the building reflects the vernacular Kashmiri architectural style. Architecturally, the house stands on a high plinth with a basement and comprises three floors above it. The centrally projecting entrance porch leads to a symmetrical internal layout, with multiple rooms arranged along a central corridor. Distinctive features include projecting wooden dubs, ornamental pinjrakari trellis work, wooden beam ceilings, and a combination of cement and mud plastering, showcasing a blend of traditional construction practices with later modifications.
