Darul Uloom Sabilur Rashad, formerly known as Madrasah Cheradari, was established in 1983 as a religious and charitable trust with the aim of imparting higher Islamic education to the Muslim community. The institution is dedicated to the teaching and memorisation of the Qur’an al-Kareem, preservation and propagation of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and promotion of Shariah in accordance with the four schools of Islamic jurisprudence. It also works to preserve the authentic Aqaid of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah, encourages Tazkiya (self-reformation), Dawah and Tabligh activities, publishes Islamic literature, supports the needy, and contributes to building and maintaining Masaajid and Madaaris. Over the decades, the institution has emerged as an important centre for religious, spiritual, and educational development in the region.
