The Shrine (Dargah) of Sufi Saint Hazrat Shamas Faqir Sahab is a revered spiritual and cultural heritage site located at Krishpora (also locally associated with Shamasabad/Kalshipora area), near Khan Sahib in Budgam district, Jammu & Kashmir. The shrine marks the final resting place of Hazrat Shamas Faqir Sahab, an influential 19th-century Kashmiri Sufi saint, poet, and mystic who followed the Qadiriyya Sufi order. Hazrat Shamas Faqir Sahab is remembered for his profound Sufi poetry in the Kashmiri language, through which he conveyed themes of divine love, inner purification, spiritual awakening, and devotion to Allah. Over time, his burial site evolved into a dargah and became an important center of Kashmiri Sufi tradition, drawing devotees from surrounding villages and districts who visit the shrine seeking spiritual solace, blessings, and guidance.
